Pennsylvania — Transportation Network Company and Insurance Disclosure

TADA Mobility (USA) LLC, operating under the THROO brand, is a transportation network company ("TNC") that uses a digital network to facilitate prearranged rides between passengers and drivers.

As a transportation network company, TADA Mobility (USA) LLC is required to maintain insurance policies as specified under 66 Pa.C.S. section 2603.1 and, for service originating in Philadelphia, 53 Pa.C.S. section 57A07.

Washington, D.C. — Insurance

Throo maintains commercial automobile liability insurance covering drivers on the Throo platform, as required by D.C. Code § 50-301.29c and 31 DCMR § 1905.

While a driver is logged in to the Throo app and available to accept trips, but has not yet accepted one, the required coverage is at least $50,000 for death or bodily injury per person, $100,000 for death or bodily injury per incident, and $25,000 for property damage.

From the moment a driver accepts a trip until the passenger leaves the vehicle, the required coverage is at least $1,000,000 per occurrence.

Throo provides this coverage. It is not left to individual drivers to obtain.

Drivers: your personal automobile insurance policy may not provide coverage while you are logged in to the Throo app or carrying a passenger, including collision, comprehensive, uninsured motorist, or medical payments coverage. Throo's coverage applies as described above.

Nothing in Throo's Terms of Service limits or contradicts the insurance required by District law.
